What's LLDPE Film Extrusion?

LLDPE (Linear Low-Density Polyethylene) Film Extrusion is a manufacturing process where LLDPE resin is melted and formed into thin plastic films. Zero Polymer offers specialized LLDPE grades designed for film extrusion, ensuring flexibility, strength, and durability.

Key Features of LLDPE Film Extrusion

High Flexibility: Ensures films are stretchable without breaking.
Excellent Puncture Resistance: Strong enough to handle sharp objects or rough handling.
Clarity & Gloss: Provides a smooth and transparent finish for packaging.
Tear Resistance: Suitable for applications requiring durability in thin films.
Sealing Performance: Ensures strong heat-sealed edges for secure packaging.

LLDPE Film Extrusion (Grade F6-B02-209) by Zero Polymer

LLDPE F6-B02-209 is a specialized Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) grade designed specifically for film extrusion applications. This material is known for its balanced mechanical properties, excellent processability and strong film performance.

Why Choose LLDPE F6-B02-209 for Film Extrusion?

Enhanced mechanical strength ensures durability in thin films. Excellent sealing performance supports secure packaging solutions. Smooth processability simplifies production and minimizes waste. Ideal for producing films with a balance of clarity, strength, and flexibility.

Advantages of LLDPE F6-B02-209

Film Extrusion Process Using LLDPE F6-B02-209

  • Material Preparation: The LLDPE pellets are fed into the extruder.
  • Melting and Extrusion: The material is heated to the appropriate temperature (typically around 170°C to 220°C) and extruded through a die.
  • Film Formation: In blown film extrusion, the molten polymer is inflated like a bubble to form a thin film. In cast film extrusion, the polymer is pressed through a flat die and cooled on rollers.
  • Cooling and Winding: The film cools and solidifies before being rolled onto spools for further processing.
